Boots Motel, known historically as Boots Court, opened in 1939 in Carthage, Missouri in the Streamline Moderne style, designed by architect Arthur Boots for Route 66 travelers who originally paid $2.50 a night. The Boots Court Foundation restored the property starting in 2021, and it remains open on the Mother Road today.
